PortaTerra – Fish Restaurant in Gallipoli Old Town | Sea View & Fresh Catch

Sunday family dinner. A menu with a wide selection of fish-based dishes. We opted for the waiters' suggestions, as well as their wine recommendations, and I must say we were right to trust them, letting ourselves be guided by the professionalism of the staff (not amateurs as sometimes happens). The plating was very pleasing—after all, the eye also wants its part—but at the same time, the dishes were hearty and satisfying. A strategic location with a view of the commercial port and the ancient castle. As soon as we arrived, we were also treated to a spectacular sunset reflected on the skyscraper. The cleanliness of the interiors and the restrooms was excellent, all in line with the kindness and hospitality of the owner, Cristina. We will definitely return, especially for the new things she has in store, which she hinted at. A perfect 10!

Wonderful restaurant, welcoming and refined down to the smallest detail. Located in the heart of the historic center, it offers a fantastic view. The dining staff is very friendly, and the dishes are exquisite. A special mention for Chef Cosimo’s presentation—we personally complimented him on the delicious creations. There’s also a more secluded room, which was truly helpful as we had children with us! Thanks to the owner, Cristina, who kindly reserved this space for us. She’s an incredibly accommodating person. Great value for money.
